On Vijayadasami day, parents bring their little ones to the temple to be initiated into the world of letters in the presence of Dakshinamurthy, the Lord of Knowledge.
Pushpanjali
പുഷ്പാഞ്ജലി
Offering of flowers with the chanting of sacred mantras in the name of the deity.
Ksheeradhara
ക്ഷീരധാര
Continuous pouring of milk over the Shiva lingam, symbolising purification and devotion.
Saptha Matha Pooja
സപ്ത മാതൃ പൂജ
Special daily offerings made to the Saptha Matha in their sanctum.
